Roswell boa background:

The Roswell-boa mutation was first discovered in 2007 in a litter of 50% Suriname (100% het Kahl-albino) boas. The Roswell gene produces an extreme, well defined reverse striped effect that just screams to be bred into other boa colour morphs. The visual het Roswell, also called a ladder-tail, due to the interconnected saddles and tail-stripes is outstanding on its own.

Roswell boas are a ground floor project. There are a handful of albino and hypo het Roswells and that’s it as far as current Roswell boa designer-morphs go. So its an open field to breed Roswell boas into other boa mutations and produce visually stunning new designer-morphs. Plus with a visual codominant het, you can produce het Roswell boas in the first breeding.

Berry Blood Boas

Our own line of proven PURE Central American Blood boa.

Produced from breeding a pure original line Blood boa male with a 100% het, new blood line Blood boa female. These are true dwarf Central American Blood boas (Boa c. imperator), with no Colombian locality or other lines crossed in at all. The breeder male is barely 3ft long and the female is just over 5ft !! The female that started this line was a high orange, farmed boa originally from western Nicaragua.

The offspring are the most genetically diverse pure Central American Blood boas available. The 100% hets are the only Blood boa hets to carry both the new Berry Blood and original Blood line genes.

The neonate Berry Bloods are a high orange - red and the 100% hets display a large amount of pink, red coloration. It will be interesting to see how these little guys change colour as they mature.
