Berry Blood Boas

Our own line of proven PURE Central American Blood boa.

Produced from breeding a pure original line Blood boa male with a 100% het, new blood line Blood boa female. These are true dwarf Central American Blood boas (Boa c. imperator), with no Colombian locality or other lines crossed in at all. The breeder male is barely 3ft long and the female is just over 5ft !! The female that started this line was a high orange, farmed boa originally from western Nicaragua.

The offspring are the most genetically diverse pure Central American Blood boas available. The 100% hets are the only Blood boa hets to carry both the new Berry Blood and original Blood line genes.

The neonate Berry Bloods are a high orange - red and the 100% hets display a large amount of pink, red coloration. It will be interesting to see how these little guys change color as they mature.

If you want to get on the waiting list for our Berry Blood Boas, send us an email to - alphapython100@yahoo.com

Colombian Ghost Boa

Ghost Boas are a duel mutation designer morph produced by mixing the co-dominant hypomelanistic (Salmon Hypo) and the recessive anerythristic (anery type 1) genes into one snake. The result is a stunning hypo/ anery.

This pair are possible supers produced from a Ghost to Ghost breeding.

2007 Ghosts - all sold out

2008 Ghosts are due in November

Gravid female

Hypo Panamanian Boas

In 2005 a handful of true Panamanian Boas (Bci) were imported into Florida. We managed to acquire most of the Hypos out of the shipment. Pure, verifiable Panamanian Hypos are one of the most rare locality boas in collections.

Panamanian Bci grow slightly larger than the most other Central American localities, however they are still a lot smaller than regular Colombian boas. Males average around 4.5 - 5ft, with females around 6ft long.

I sold a pair of the nicest Hypos to my good friend, Dr Matlock. He has grown them up and is expecting babies from a gravid female (April 2008). We will be selling his surplus inventory from our site.

August 08 update: This girl didn't produce any babies ... she looked and acted gravid, but nothing. As we always say ... lets try again next season !
