These are our standard terms of
sale. By placing an order with John Berry Reptiles LLC you
agree to the following terms and conditions of sale.
GUARANTEES: All animals are
guaranteed to be healthy and properly sexed (unless
otherwise agreed upon in the case of neonates too young to
sex). We do however except you to also check and confirm the
sex of any animal after receiving it from us just to make
sure we didn't make an error. (as we do with any animals we
receive).
Customer satisfaction is of paramount
importance to us so we need to be informed if you are not
satisfied with your new reptile as soon as possible. If
there is any thing wrong with your purchase, we will replace
any animal for the cost of the return freight/shipping as
long as if we are notified within 48 hours of your
collection/ delivery. After 48 hours
we assume no further liabilities. If we are not able to
replace an animal we may pass a credit towards a future
purchase.
UK & EMEA orders & shipping: We are able
to deliver to most part of mainland UK with TNT. Snakes will only be
shipped as weather permits. During extreme hot or cold
periods we will gladly care for your snake(s) until shipping
is possible. Someone must be present to sign for the
shipment.
Alternatively you can collect from us in Bristol, England. We are
also present at most IHS and other UK shows and can arrange collection
from Houten/ Netherlands or Hamm/ Germany shows.
USA orders & shipping: Most animals will be shipped
airfreight collect to the nearest commercial airport unless
otherwise agreed upon. Shipments must be picked-up from the
airline within 2 hours of its arrival. Shipments must be
opened and inspected by you immediately at the airline's
facility to insure against theft or accidental death. If
there is a problem you are required to alert both the
airlines and John Berry Reptiles of the problem immediately.
If a snake has expired you must make a claim with the
carrier before leaving the airport. John Berry
Reptiles LLC is a known shipper and Delta Airlines certified.
UPS next day air is also available at a
cost of approximately $65.00 per snake. The cost may increase depending upon the weight of the box. Someone must
be present to sign for the shipment. Snakes will only be
shipped as weather permits. During extreme hot or cold
periods we will gladly care for your snake(s) until shipping
is possible.
INTERNATIONAL
orders & shipping : We welcome International Orders from
outside the USA & Europe. However due to
the extra paperwork and time involved, our minimum
International order is $2000.00. We require a
50% deposit to hold animals for international orders and to
start the export process. Unless agreed in writing at the
time of sale you are responsible for all fees associated
with your international shipment. These include the cost of
the CITES export
permit, international health certificate (if required) & U.S. Fish and Wildlife
inspection fees. You will also be required to cover the
costs for any insurance and prepaid shipping. Once an order
is placed and we have applied for your CITES permit all
deposits are non-refundable.
PAYMENTS: Payment in full is
necessary before snake(s) will be shipped. Payment is acceptable
by money order, wire transfer, Paypal or
credit/debit card via Paypal or cash.

We do accept checks(US), cheques (UK)
by prior arrangement. If payment is made via check, reptile(s) will not be
shipped until the check clears - usually 5 business days for
out of state checks. Quantity discounts are available
for most species.
PAYMENT PLANS: We are able to
offer flexible payment plans or hold snakes with a reasonable
deposit, normally 20-25% of the value of the sale. You pay a deposit and you choose the payment terms
(normally 90 days).
Once we agree the terms, we will house and feed your snake/s
until they are fully paid for. When we receive the final
payment, the snake/s are yours. Please note, we consider a
payment plan a commitment to purchase, thus once we agree
terms and you start payment, if you stop paying for a period
of 60 days, all deposits &
payments are fortified. If you are unable to complete a
payment plan please contact us as soon as possible. We
may, at our discretion agree to pass a credit
towards a future purchase or another snake.
SALES TAX: All Florida/ USA residents, please
add 6.50% sales tax.
RESERVATIONS/
DEPOSITS: Reservations are kept on a list on a "first come
first
served" basis. To secure your place on the list we must
receive a 25% deposit.
Receipt of this deposit insures your place on the list, the
price of the snake or
snakes and insures us of your commitment to purchase the reptile(s). If for any
reason we are not able to produce the snake(s) to fill your
order, we will notify
you and upon your approval, (a) roll your deposit over into
next year or (b) refund you your deposit. DEPOSITS are non
refundable IF we
produce your
order in the year ordered and you change your mind.
WAITING
LISTS: We do run waiting lists on some snakes. This is a
non commitment list without any financial obligation on your
behalf UNLESS you ask us to reserve you a snake and pay us a
deposit. Then you are moved from the waiting list onto the
RESERVATION list and the RESERVATION List terms apply.
OWNERSHIP: All reptiles remain the property of
John Berry Reptiles LLC until fully paid for.
